Hi! This is the personal blog of Kevin Pereira where someone can get to know me better especially since I can be more quiet than not!
As you can now tell, I like to stay apprised of a few topics. My main interests are Software Development, Technology, Science, Investing, and News/Public Policy. Personal interests are organizing, and swimming.
My favorite quote is:
“Use it up, Wear it out, Make it do, or Do without.”
My recollection of this quote is that it originated during World War II in The United States of America. The intent behind the quote was to conserve resources or treat personal resources preciously such that the country’s resources could be channeled to the war effort. Well, according to Wikipedia the quote was used by those that experienced the Great Depression. According to the Frugal Guru, the quote came about from the war which matches my impression. Both are good explanations.
