One problem that has presented itself over time is that I have been accumulating a lot of email in my many many email accounts. So being the through type of person that I am, I go through the emails skimming and browsing and hopefully quickly deleting my emails. Now keep in mind that these are not spam emails. The emails I am referring to are emails that I have had some type of relationship with, or have an interest in some way.

Well, I came up with the bright idea of moving these types of emails from all the different email accounts to a mobile email platform where I can review them quickly every day and delete them and to not let them be so burdensome. I no longer have to log into a PC once a month and painstakingly review and delete emails like a murderous chore that it seemed to have turned into.

This new scheme is working out quite well. I can use my mobile email platform for quick reaction needs like an eBay outbid notice, or a notification that has value from timeliness.

…And the WOW factor…. I can log into my other email accounts and WOW its clean!

About the other emails accounts, I still use them. The other email accounts have turned into dedicated email accounts for a particular purpose. For instance, I use one email account for Job Search / Contacts, Web Server SPAM and tracking. Another email account is used for finance.

Regarding my SPAM emails, I skim through those even faster! I have done my best to clean up and remove and ID these emails.

Basically what I have done is cleaned up and organized my email because it was like an overgrown out of control jungle. Ahh.. It is a much more pleasant experience now…. like the scene below… 🙂
